In this new article you will learn:

=> 4 Tried & Tested FREE Strategies to Driving Traffic to Your Site

=> The most important element of your article

=> The vital importance of anchor text in inbound linking

=> ...and much more!

If you've been on the Internet even a short time, you probably have learned that there is one definitive element that means the difference between success and failure...TRAFFIC!

No traffic equals no sales. It's that simple. But not just any type of traffic. Targeted traffic. Visitors who are actively searching for what you offer is the only traffic you care about.

Why? Because if the traffic you're receiving is not targeted (in other words, your correct audience for your product or service) then getting a million visitors is still worthless because no one is going to be buying.

So let's look at a few tried and proven strategies for getting targeted traffic to your site at no cost.

1. Publish articles to Article Announcement Sites

I love this technique because it works like a dream and you can write and publish an article today and it can still show up in search results 7 years later. I know this because I have seen articles out there that I wrote in 2001-2002.

This is due to the fact that other ezine publishers find your article interesting and they publish it to their ezine and they do other things to bring traffic to their site via your article's information. Very powerful.

Here's what you do:

Write an article 600 words or so and submit it to a number of the best article announcement sites, such as articlecity.com, goarticles.com, ideamarketers.com, pressarticle.com, ezinearticles.com, netterweb.com, makingprofit.com. ...to name a few.

Have a resource box at the end of each article with a link back to your site.(this is the secret...your link back to you is the most important element in your article!)

Pay attention to each sites rules for posting your article. They will tell you eaxactly how they want it formatted to be accepted by them.

2. Publish articles to online newsletters (Ezines)

Search for newsletter directories in your market, using your most popular keywords then the word "newsletter" or "ezine" after the keyword. This will display targeted ezines.

You can also use ezine directories to search such as directoryofezines.com, bestezines.com, ezinesearch.com, netterweb.com/search/,...to name a few.

Contact the publisher and simply ask them if they accept articles and what is their submission guidelines and desired format. Again, keep the articles to 600 words or so, and most importantly, you must be able to have your resource box with your link in it.

Always make it clear that your article can not be modified in any way.

3. Forums

Search for online forums in your target market and sign up to a few. Get in on the daily discussions and respond to comments and most of all, questions, people have and you soon will be sought out for more help from these folks. You will essentially become know as an expert.

Get them to sign up for your newsletter, but just be careful of the forum guidelines beforehand about self-advertising on the forum. You don't want to be accused of spamming by the forum moderators.

4. Obtaining inbound links from authoritative sites in your market

This is a very powerful strategy and should be an everyday activity for you. Google places enormous value on incoming links from high value sites (they have determined the site is high value, not you)

Search for sites in your market. If you have the Google toolbar installed on your browser, and you should, then it will show you the site's pange rank. This is where you start.

Any site that hits your target audience, has a page rank of 5 or more, but is not in competition with you, should be put on a list.

Now after you have assembled a list of sites, now you contact the owner or at least the webmaster and ask them to consider placing your site url link on their site.

Now of course, it goes without saying that you must be able to bring added value to their site for them to ever consider this and it's your job to prove to them that this is the case. Otherwise, why on earth would they do it.

If they agree but they want you to reciprocate then do so.

It is of critical importance that they have anchor text in the link, using the keywords you provide them with. This is where the power is for this inbound link, relative to SEO and organic ranking. Without it and it doesn't mean a whole helluva lot!

Negotiating linking takes time and can be frustrating when many say no but it is a MUST process for achieving success in the organic search department and increasing your sites authoritative value in the eyes og Google, Yahoo and MSN.

Well there you have it. Four powerful and FREE strategies for driving potentially thousands of new targeted traffic to your site very quickly.

Until next time...

To your success,

Special Note

A true professional

Matt came in as our marketing consultant just in time to save us from potentially closing our doors.

We experienced an instant inflow of new leads with a respectable 1.2% clickthrough rate. These leads garnered 9 high-probability prospects -- all for less than $500 in Adwords campaign costs.

This was astounishing considering the relatively low volume of daily traffic.  Over the next three months, we secured engineering and construction contracts with two of these prospects -- totally $ 1.1 million.

Thank you Matt... you're a true professional. We could not have achieved this without your expertise and guidance!  I look forward to our continued relationship.
